The third installment in the “Fantastic Beasts” franchise is called “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore”. It is a prequel series to the original “Harry Potter” stories. The movie was directed by David Yates from a screenplay by J. K. Rowling and Steve Kloves, based on a screenplay by Rowling. The sequel to Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018), it is the third installment in the Fantastic Beasts film series and the eleventh overall in the Wizarding World franchise.

The story is set in 1930s Berlin where cuddly critters have mostly been swapped out for darker creatures. Scorpionesque freaks guard a prison where activists are tortured (or worse). In this movie, young(er) Dumbledore (Jude Law) confronts his old foe –- franchise fatigue.

According to our sources, in the third film we find that Credence, whose real name is Aurelius Dumbledore, is the son of Albus’ brother Aberforth. So Credence isn’t Albus’s brother, he’s his nephew. Aberforth had a love affair with a woman and she was sent away with the child.

The cast includes Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore, Mads Mikkelsen as Gellert Grindelwald, Katherine Waterston as Tina Goldstein, Dan Fogler as Jacob Kowalski and many more.
